It wasn't the score I had hoped for but he had some really good moments and got all the principal parts right for our first ASCA CD leg. We skipped a CAT test today, and I'm okay with that. Will think about tomorrow and we have the luxury of day of entries. :)

Bobby will take a bath today and might get a whirl around the ring in UTB and OB tomorrow. It would be fun to show him again.

Justus scored 182, lost 10 pts on lead but most of that on the fig 8, and lost nothing on SFE. He lost 5 off lead heeling
And did an auto finish on recall...

Congrats, Justus!! Another great day in the ring! Sure the score isn't exactly what you were looking for, but it sounds as though he's trying to master other parts of exercises, i.e., forging and rockback sits. Perfection takes time.

Yes! Bobby gets a go in the ring!! I hope you have a great day.

Dani
Davina - UDX, OM1
Dalton - CDX, RAE
Derrick - CD, RAE
Rush - a few breed points

Congrats Justus and Joan! Sure not the score you want but the scores aren't on the certificate.:smile2:

PS Dani, not to hijacked the thread what this a few breed points on Rush, you better start a another thread on this. You didn't think you'd slip that by me did you?:biggrin2::wink2:

A little better today, 187.5 and 1st place! 2nd ASCA leg for Justus! Woohoo!!!

Bobby Q'd in Utility and earning a 3rd with 186. he finished for fronts, and did a front when asked to finish... silly boy!

Bobby had a beautiful open run up to standing up when I left the ring for sits, then did the down stay in a perfect 5 minute sit... geesh... He had a great time otherwise and was so happy and cute in the ring.

Proud of my lots less than perfect boys, they try so hard for me!

We have two chances for that third leg this weekend, but my goals are much smaller. I really want a decent figure 8, and good attention in heeling .. oh, and a one minute sit stay. :biggrin2:

At the trial way too early, waiting around. I'm leaving the dogs in the car and they will get two breaks to stretch and potty. It's nice out there, cool and quiet. Inside there are all those nerves flying around. :)

Watching the really good teams in their warm ups and picking up little hints if someone drops one. And craving dill pickle... What? Yup, a craving... Am a little disappointed they don't have anything for exhibitors, normally they do. Maybe I can offer a fruit bowl for exhibitors tomorrow.

Ok,well will be back with today's results in a couple hours...
