I am looking to find a recipe for a birthday cake cause my precious Dutchess will soon be one year old! Anyone have a good recipe that won't make a huge cake? I would appreciate it! She is such a special little girl that I just have to do something special for her first Birthday celebration!!!

i used to make one for my dog to cut up and use as treats, but it comes out very cake-like. let me see if i can remember...

1 c oatmeal
1 c flour
1 c water
1 c shredded carrot, chopped up
1 banana (the riper, the better)
1 tsp peanut butter

mix it all together, spread in a pan, and cook at 350 for... 15 or 20 minutes.

you can experiment with different ingrediants. the dog's aren't usually too picky
