Good advice. Suprisingly, there aren't many rescued Shelties in my area. All the shelters and rescues are overflowing w/ Pit Bulls and Pit mixes. Since I have kids, I don't want to go that direction. But, the rescue I've been looking at just got a 8 month old female Aussie. I might offer to foster her.
