Found a supplier of EVERYTHING for RAW feeding

Toffee's Mom

Forums Sage
You guys!
I am so excited I found these people who deliver prey model raw food to my area, it is , frozen, pre- packaged in 1/2 pound bags for me.. including bones cut down to suit Mr Toffee and all kinds of goodies, including green tripe!
So for a month's supply, just to see if I can do complete raw only, she just quoted me 35.00 bucks.. with a 10 delivery fee... so I could buy this in bulk and have everything in his diet that I wanted!

To those of you who feed raw, can you maybe check out the website and let me know what you think? I can't find anything wrong with it, it's everything I believe in.. so maybe Ineed a critical eye from you guys who already feed raw. I have opted out of the mackerel for now, and am feeding oil once a week instead, lol. I will feed the green tripe weekly in the patty form, instead of raw...

I am soooooo jealous! I wish I had a supplier here like that for that price! Do they have liver? I did not see that, but then I quickly skimmed it. I would do the whole meat not the ground - better for their teeth.

sounds great. I have used Oma's Pride products and while they great it comes on a bit pricey side so since I have excellent ethnic markets near me I could get just about anything cheaper. If the price is good I would so go with this line.

Yeah they have organs as well, I can can mix it up and feed something wonderful everyday!
The price is what got me do a double take, it's cheaper than continuing to buy from the supermarket for me!

Very interesting site. I notice they don't advocate the feeding of weight bearing bones.."Maro" bones though. I thought maro bones were so good for their teeth? I'm a little confused :confused2: Guess it comes down to personal opinion on that one? Also, where is the pricing info? I can't seem to find it?

They do NOT feed weight bearing bones, most people I know who feed raw never do, either. Personally I do give an occassional soup/marrow bone as treats, but ONLY because Toffee doesn't try and break the bone up, he just licks the bone marrow and scrapes it out without trying to crack those wrecker bones.

for a month worth of food, if i feed him 1/2 a pound a day, 1 pound on super active days, they are charging me CD$35.00

Thank you for that info. Humm...I saw where Beef neck bones are given. I may try to find some of those. We aren't "raw feeders" here, but I do like to give them things that are good for their dental work :smile2:

The $ for this way of feeding sounds very, very reasonable!:smile2:

That is a good find and looks like they are really helpful and have a good variety. Will be interested in seeing how Toffee does on it.

I'm debating about going raw for Miko's kidney failure. I saw your post and thought, thank gawd, I can do this. I'll just buy it.

Boo...not only are you in Canada, you're on the OTHER SIDE!!!!!

I may need to buy Barb's cottage and move.
