Found Sable Sheltie Torrance, CA - Update - owner located

A Sheltie was found in Torrance CA yesterday. No collar, no micro-chip. She is older with a limp and cataracts. She is Sable in color and seems very agitated that she does not know where she is...please help her to get back home!! I will be bringing her to the Southland Sheltie Rescue tomorrow Saturday, October 22nd.

I think it was Karma that I was at the vets with my dog for an unscheduled visit because of a red eye, when this dog was brought in by the person who found her, and I just happened to be going to the Southland Sheltie Rescue picnic in the morning to meet more people with Shelties. Weird how things happen....

Anyway, she is sleeping now. She has a muffled bark, surely not natural and she does bark when she has to go out and pee. She is a sweet dog. Wish we could find her home....:sadsmile:
 
So glad you were there to take her, I hope she finds her owners and get reunited with her family.
 
Found her owner

Kathy, from Southland Sheltie Rescue had me find exactly where she was found and when, which I did. After the picnic, I circled that area and found a man on the street who saw a flyer for this dog and directed me to owners house...I put her in touch with Rescue and she should be home soon!! :biggrin2: Wish I had known/thought to do this yesterday... :o
