Good Morning!

For those of you that did not see the posts over the weekend, I wanted to list out the things that you CAN do to try and bring ruffles home. I have been feeling helpless living so far away, but feel like by doing these things, I CAN help out Ruffles:

Here they are:

1. Join the Help Find Ruffles FB page. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/group.php?gid=130392486978346&ref=ts

2. Post a request on this new channels FB page asking them to run the Ruffles story:
http://www.facebook.com/bn9fans. To post a request, hit the "like" button once you are on the page and a text box will appear for you to type in the comment.

3..Go to Shep's FB page on Fox News, as he is an animal lover. Here is his FB page. The more people asking for this story to air, the better chance we have for finding Ruffles.
http://www.facebook.com/ShepardSmith To post a request, hit the "like" button once you are on the page and a text box will appear for you to type in the comment.

4. As you saw, the local TV station picked up the story of Ruffles because she has become a FB phenomenon with close to 1200 members of her FB page. So...we thought this was such a cool story that we could try and get the attention of the drudgereport and the huffington post. So.....please send an e-mail to them at these addresses:
scoop@huffingtonpost.com
drudge@drudgereport.com

Please share this link with them: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1457281628434&ref=mf and ask them to put it up on their sites.

I REALLY appreciate EVERYONES help with this. We are GOING to bring her home......and the more people that get involved the better.

All this takes is a few minutes.

Thank-you VERY much
Danielle

Have posted requests on both news stations facebook pages and will be writing e-mails to the newspapers later today.

RUFFLES is HOME!!!!

Yes!

Here is a note from my breeder:

RUFFLES IS HOME.- I am in shock. Ruffles was sighted about 3 miles from where she originally was lost. She was living in a fenced in retention pond. She had a hole she crawled through to go into a yard where there was a dumpster. The Van Fleet family my daughter, husband and I searched and saw her. She ran like a wild animal in fear w...hen we called or saw her . We tried over 2 hrs to get her but we couldn't . It was horrible. Finally I found a quiet place and sat with my dog Troy. I started petting and playing with him . She peered out but if you looked at her she ran. I ignored her, which was the hardest thing I have ever done and she finally sniffed Troy who was 5 ft from me. When I moved she ran again. Finally I let her sniff Troy and moved him closer inch by inch till I could grab her. She is emaciated. She was gone for 4 wks and ate very little. We fed her lightly. She has lots of fleas but the vet said not to do anything tonight. This is the best news ever. She gave me lots of kisses since she is home. A million thanks to everyone for the prayers and help. Thanks for the happy fairy tale ending.

Thank-you to everyone for all of your support, help, posting, etc.

IT WORKED!

Thank-you thank-you thank-you.

I cannot tell you how relieved we are.

Danielle

In truth I was beginning to think someone had her since there'd been no sightings of her.

That is what we were thinking as well. That would have been better, for Ruffles, since she is in such bad shape, now. Plus.....it has been 90 plus for weeks in Florida. She is one tough cookie.

It is amazing how the friendliest of Shelties, when lost, turn afraid and wary. Ruffles was even afraid of her people when they found her. It is hard to imagine, but definitely is good information to have, in case we are ever, God Forbid, put in this situation.

Thank-you to everyone for your support. I know that Judy and Dave can sleep well tonight, knowing that Ruffles is safe at home.
