I once was a rescue dog. I was left sick in a kennel at the pound. A nice lady from the Sheltie rescue came to save me. I had lots of medical issues. I had allergies to the food I was eating and my skin was infected and I had bad teeth. I was nearly bald from my skin condition. They took me in and gave me special baths which helped with the Itching. I was a good dog but this lady needed to send me to yet another lady because she didnt have what I needed so here I go again now I have to fit in again. Well things got better this lady had the time and patience to deal with my skin. My hair was starting to grow back I almost have a full coat now. It was time to post me on pet finder. Many people came to see me and I showed them what a good boy I was but they couldnt get past that I still has some hair loss and was missing some teeth. Then one day this couple came to see me It was around Valentines day. This was the day I was to meet my new mom and dad! We hit it off from the start! I went home that day with them. She didnt care if I was a perfect Sheltie! I was beautiful to her! On the way home we stopped at Petsmart and they let me do some shopping I had a blast! We finally arrived at my new home. I wasnt sure how to act. I kind of stayed off in a corner but eventually I came out of my shell. I couldnt believe my mom lets me sit on the sofa next to her! Wow, This is nice! Bed time is cool too I get to sleep at the foot of the bed! Well, its been over a year now and I know Im loved! I can tell by the little things they do for me. I now hold my head high when Im riding in the car,and at the groomer I know Im beautiful cause I can see it in my moms eyes as she is watching me and she always tells me , "you are my handsome man!" And this is how I went from a Rescue to a King (Buddy)
