Well, it was such a fun experience to attend the National at Purina Farms. We were there Saturday 4/22, the last day. We got to see some of the best in show elimination rounds, and our breeder alerted us to her favorite, Laureate Invincible. We located his grooming area, and were able to take a photo of handsome "Vinnie", who went on to win Best In Show!! I got sweet Sheltie kisses from several dogs, and people were generally very nice and approachable. Only one California breeder was there that I could see, which makes sense as it is a fair distance to Missouri. I still can't believe our luck that we happened to be there during that week.
How did everyone else do that was there? I know some agility folks were there - hope you did well. I did notice a board listing the Best All-Around Dogs, and Dr. Shelli's kennel (with her friend) had a dog listed at the top for different accomplishments in various disciplines. Very cool.
