We had the State end of year break up agility (mock) trial on Wed night. It was the best night, with two jumping courses for retirees with bars on the ground and lots of tunnels. The retired dogs were soooo happy and smiley and it was hilarious to watch - they all took those bars on the ground like proper jumps.
Deska ran as a retiree, he barked and spinned most of the course, he was just so excited to get back in the ring (nowadays he stays in the crate at trials while Tully runs). He smiled all night and when he went to sleep his little legs were still running around the ring.
It was such a great idea and such a success they plan holding more events for retirees. And next week flyball and agility at my club are combining for a 'fly-gility' end of year run, should be another fun night.
