Hello to all, I'm new to having a sheltie, and our gorgeous boy is now 9 months old. I've really appreciated reading many of the threads, and they've answered lots of my questions about grooming, coat lengths etc. I've found some breeders can be possessive of information , and it's nice to find a forum where everyone is willing to share their knowledge and skills.

We live in Oz (Australia) , and our 4 yr old son and Henry (sheltie) are inseparable. He's been the best addition to our family , especially as we cant have any more children. So he's our "baby" !!

I look forward to reading more about shelties on the thread.

Hi fellow Aussie and welcome. Its nice to hear from sheltie owners on this side of the world too.

Pictures are an absolute must - especially one with both your boys (furry and non furry kind).

Welcome to the forum, come on up onto the back deck and have a lemonade and watch the shelties run in the backyard.

Well, you'd have to travel more than a day to bring your sheltie here to run in the yard, but its nice to imagine!

Drop on by anytime!

Granite Janet, Alan, Russell and the sheltie clan: Indy, Emma, Sasha, Figaro, and Angus and of course the little puppies on the way due to arrive around 7/28/09!
