Gracee

So very, very sorry to hear of Gracee's passing. When you've had them that long, it seems like they've been there all your life, and it's a terrible shock when they're not anymore. My Neechee died in 2010 at 17-1/2. I'd had him so long that I couldn't imagine life without him.

I know that he and my Border Collies Max and Maggie will be there to greet me at Rainbow Bridge! Have faith, dear ones, and Gracee's memory would be honored if the memory of her led you to get another Sheltie.

It is so hard losing a dog - they become such a part of us, in heart and soul. Their short little lives are just no long enough, yet they don't care and still live life to the fullest no matter what.

I pray for comfort for your grieving heart, and peace for your soul.

My heart goes out to you. It sounds like she was such a joyful dog--she will always be with you in those memories.

Thank You

Thank you all. Jaynie, we have a new puppy, a Sable boy we named Myles. I surprised my wife on a trip over the holidays to the east coast!

I'm so sorry, she sounds like a wonderful dog. When I saw her name and that she had past I couldn't keep form shedding a few tears. My sweet little kitty, also named Gracee, past around the same time so I know how you must feel. I try think about her purring in my lap instead of being sick. That always helps.

Sorry to hear that Gracee has passed one. It sounds like she lives a wonderful life and was a greatly loved part of your family. Sending hugs your way.

Sorry for your loss! It sounds like Gracee had a wonderful and full life in her 16.5 years! Your reference to her barking reminds me of my little heart Sheltie Brandi ....she loves to talk to me ...very verbally and a lot!

:hugs
