Halloween Spooks....?

Ok, we all know that dogs are super-sensitive, particularly with respect to the paranormal!

It's Halloween, and Indy has been psychotic all day! He's been barking at shadows, at leaves, at just about anything...non-stop! All freakin' day!

Do you suppose that he senses the veils between the worlds collapsing on this night of all nights? Is he experiencing the ghosts of Sheltie's past and present?

Or is he just plain being stupid, because I was away last night for a romantic spa getaway with David?

What do you think????

Could be he senses some thing in the air, they are so darn smart ya know! The spa get away sounds really nice, did you have fun!!!

[shivering violin crescendos....]
As I was reading your post suddenly all of my shelties stopped tilted their head...and raised a paw (ok some are lefties and some are righties but a paw is a paw..)....

Nah, no paranormal sensitivities here

I dont know, mine have been that way all day today however its also been 72 out and 50mph winds so everything has been blowing everywhere today...
Getting ready to crate them before the kiddies start coming around and send them even farther over the edge!:rolleyes2:

I don't know Barb..but your weekend get away..sounds like heaven! did you have a good time?

I don't know about the paranormal thing, but I know once Earnhardt totally freaked me out one evening,as his eyes were fixed on a portrait of Scott,my oldest boy. I could not get him to even look away.It was almost as if he was seeing or sensed something I could not see. Sometimes I wonder~

I just KNEW you could supply the appropriate sound effects!

And now, I've got an Alfred Hitchcock movie playing in the empty lot across from my house. The crows are gathering in the trees, swooping and calling to each other....they keep coming in droves and droves! Caw! Caw! Caw!

Not even a trick or treater showing up at my door! Do they sense something too?

My skin is crawling...where will this night end up!? Da,da, da, dummmmm! Stay tuned.

I was going to ask the same thing Ania! That is a freaky picture. Now I know there are bats up north, but that looks like a thing from an Alfred Hitchcock movie..:eek2:

Beware.... will Indy become a Werewolf?

Mine has also been bouncing off the walls. Even after a walk in the park and then around the block. Last year we weren't around for Halloween, so maybe she's waiting for nightfall. This will be her first encounter with spooks. Will she mystically change and become the Shewolf, stalking the poor trick or treaters. Herding them all into the confines of the yard, not allowing them to leave until they have given her a favorite dog treat?:eek2::eek2:

And the picture is very spooky. (Though it took me a while just to figure out how to look.:rolleyes2:)
