Hello
I've been reading a lot on the forums and both my fiance and I have learned a great deal about the breed from everyone's experiences. After years of waiting to get a dog (various reasons including some beyond our control), we got Marlow at 12.5 weeks in June this year when we finally found a place to live that allows pets. He is such a sweet boy and we love him to bits.
Since everyone seems to enjoy pictures, here are a few from his early days to present day.
18 days old and yes, he still likes to poke people awake.
Our visit to the breeders to pick between him and his brother at 5.5 weeks.
7.5 weeks old enjoying the wonderful early spring at the breeder's.
We brought him home and decided that after his long journey, the following day he'd have a bath. Quite content post bath.
He loves his baby blanket. It smelled like his parents, his littermates, his other dog mates and the breeder's. We thought it was cute to wrap him up with it (close to 4 months old here).
Teaching him sit was easy (one afternoon!) but with our slippery floors, this is how he sits now and probably forever. We think it's cute.
Fast forward to the last few weeks (7ish months old):
Waiting patiently for his treat (5 months)... and waiting again (7 months).
Super happy when I finally said it was ok to have his treat.
Fiance's away at a conference so Marlow takes it upon himself to help himself to some pillow.
Finally, his latest toy that we picked up at Costco. It stands at about 4.5' tall but Marlow has no problem reaching his head.
So that's Marlow in a nutshell!
Cheers!
