Just wanted to stop in and say Hi to all or as they say here in charlotte. Hey!
I am a transplanted West Virginian. Been living here for about 20 or so years.
I have been a Sheltie lover for a long time and have finally gotten to the point in my life where I could actually own some. I just found this site and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Below is a current pic of my wonderful dogs. The one in the front (Roxy) is a sheltie/pom mix and the one in the back (Buster) is supposed to be a purebred but I have no papers for him, which doesn't bother me in the slightest. Both were obtained from the humane society. Roxy is 2 and I have had her for about 4 months and Buster is almost 5 months and have had her for 1 day and let me tell ya you would think these dogs have always known each other. I was shocked at how well Roxy took to him and they have been playing all day long. I think Roxy is going to help make his transition much smoother.

Your pups are beautiful :D

Shelties have an amazing ability to recognize their own breed, so it doesn't surprise me that they are best of friends already. Every Sheltie that my Romeo sees is immediately his "best friend forever". :lol:

You have 2 fine looking furkids there.:biggrin2: Big Sheltie hugs to Roxy and Buster :wink2: I hope you enjoy the forums. There are lots of great people here that are willing to share there knowledge and experience. Looking forward to seeing you on the forum.:yes:
 
Roxy looks like someone stuck a Sheltie face on a Pom! :smile2: My last dog was a beautiful black Pom named Cody. He passed after 14 great years. Poms are very smart too, so you should have a doozy of a dog there. :cool: And Buster looks like a sable version of my Max. Very handsome!

Welcome to the group! Very cute babies! GeeRome said it well that Shelties recognize other Shelties! I have three and they get along great! It cracked me up a while back when Cesar Milan had a Sheltie on his show. The dog was barking and instantly all three girls woke up and looked right at the TV as if they knew it was a Sheltie, they have never done that for any other dog barking! Hope you like it here!:lol:
