Hi my name is Joan and just found this site. We have to male sheltie brothers who are 18 months old. Bud is a sable and Snoopy is tri color.
We just built a cabin in Union Mills NC and will be moving soon. :smile2: I am so glad we have the two brothers, but they are a handfull. It is very hard to train them together and they don't want to be separated. They love to play with each other but sometimes get rough and have to be separated. They have different dispositions and Bud is a bigger than Snoopy and afraid of his own shadow. Snoopy loves to make his big brother bark. I had both dogs trained together at the house, then took Bud to obedience school by himself because he barks at anything that moves.
They have a 16 year old sister, Missy, who is a mixed breed. When they start bothering her she just gives them a look and they go in another direction.

Welcome to the forum! Once you're in NC you'll be about an hour's drive from our house! We'll have to have sheltie picnic sometime!

Thanks

Thanks so much. I have been reading it all morning and learning so much. Can I put a picture of my dogs by my name?
Joan

That sounds like a great idea. Thanks. What part of NC are you at?
I hope you find Angus soon.

A big welcome to you, from another carolinian! i'm not native to here..but it is a nice place to live.

We have two shelties, they are half brothers, and came from Granite, here on the forum. She is the member that is an hour from you. It's beautiful country where Janet lives.

It would be fun to get together. Our oldest male is Trapp, and his brother is Jasper, who will be 9 months old on the 30th~

Looking forward ro seeing pictures.I'm not going to beg..cause I think some already have!!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

I live in Weaverville, NC; six miles north of Asheville.

Angus has been lost since 5/30/10 and the last sighting was on 6/7/10 in Waynesville, NC....no word about him since then.

I'd love to see pictures of your shelties/your family!

Hi, welcome to the forum!
Your boys Snoopy and Bud sound like a lot of fun. I also have a sable Yogi and tri Revel but they are not really related. They still keep me on my toes although they are older:biggrin2:
I expect your Missy keeps her eye on them for you, looking forward to seeing lots of pictures of them all:smile2:
