Hello everyone! I am new mum to a one year old male Sheltie. Danny came home yesterday from a breeder.This is the first time I am owning a Sheltie. Really excited to be a part of this forum and looking forward to learning from all you sheltie lovers :smile2: Will share a picture of him soon.

Welcome!! I met some nice Sheltie folks from Japan at the American Shetland Sheepdog Association Nationals just a few days ago!

Thank you everyone. I got introduced to this site while doing my research on the breed and I was very impressed with the Info that I found on the forums. Danny is proving to be a good boy with very less barking and no real bad habits yet. He has his own quirks though :wink2:.

Yes, there are some good Sheltie breeders in Japan. We got him from a breeder in Tokyo as we could not find any in Sapporo.

Your Danny is so handsome and such a happy looking little guy. You will love having a sheltie...they are such deeply devoted and intelligent little companions.

Thank You! Yes, he is a happy boy and we are trying to keep up with his physical and mental exercise needs. He will certainly keep us fit :wink2:
