Waiting on our first pup to arrive....the litter is about 3 weeks old now, excitement is growing for all. Been years since we had a dog in the house....been feline for the last 15 yrs.

Plan to clicker train.....working on getting a fence installed at the moment.

You're going to have a wonderful time. Watching these guys grow into their own loving personalities is a joy. They are so smart and eager to learn and make us happy. Congrats and post pictures!!!

Definitely pays to search all options...found a couple of sable pups that are 8 weeks tomorrow. Going for a visit later in the week.
 
Hi I am in Ohio also, when I first started looking for a pup, I had my name with a breeder and then I found the breeder I ended up getting a pup from. I am so glad I did some more looking. So if you did not get the first pup you were looking at I hope you are as happy with the one you got as I am. I feel I made the very best decision too! It has been many years since I have had a sheltie, as I have had kittys for the last 20 years, am I am really enjoying the new baby.
