Hello all, found this forum while looking up information on how to crate train a new sheltie.

I am from Ontario, canada and just purchased a three month old bi-black sheltie. I lost my 12 year old sheltie last year to a heart attack.

I would never again own any other kind of dog!

I am also an owner of a pallid quaker parrot, who is 2 years old and amazing :)

Welcome to the Forum! I have a 2-1/2 year old sable boy named Spencer who loves the sound of his own voice. I did have a bi-black girl named Ebony but lost her to kidney disease when she was only seven years old.
You must be excited to have your new pup. It's always so difficult when you lose a beloved companion and it must have been a shock to lose your 12 year old so suddenly.

Welcome!! Hopefully we'll get to see pictures of your dog as we like pictures. You'll greatly enjoy this forum.

Hello Skrodlada, welcome to your new home :) I love it here. I run a rescue so I have 9 shelties right now.

Everyone here is great and very helpful. All these years I thought I knew a lot about shelties, but I have found so much help and info here, and I know you will too.
