Hello -new to this site but not to Shelties

Hi there - We became Sheltie lovers since we got our first Sheltie over 16 years ago. We have had other sweet babies of different breeds thru the years but we found a sweet Sheltie 16 years ago that stole our heart. Missy was born on a Mennonite Farm and her parents were working dogs. She was a sable and of hardy stock. She was with us for over 15 years and we lost her last August after a 2 year battle with cancer. As devastated as we were we knew our next baby would be a Sheltie. We wanted to give a Sheltie that may be down on it's luck a home this time. And God and Missy we believe led us to a Sheltie Rescue Center in TN and Shelby, a 3 yr old sable. She has been a blessing to our family in the short 5 months we have had her and it feels like she was out there just waiting for us all this time.

I live in the south part- near Mobile

Welcome to the Forums, it sounds like Shelby found you and rescued you
I wonder if there is any photos on photobucket or flickr that you could share with us? :confused2::biggrin2:
