here's my new rescue

Congratulations

He is certainly worth the wait. What a handsome Sheltie. It is amazing sometimes what wonderful dogs end up in rescue. Thanks for going the rescue route with such great results. Yours aye, Will

I can see a long wait for such a great looking pup. He does have that who me tri look in addition to the is anyone watching look

He is very handsome! If (when) I want another sheltie, I will also get a rescue as Aria has been a wonderful addition to our family. I would love to compare notes on quirks!

Suki's story is that his owner moved into a place that didn't allow dogs and he was kept at the owner's friend's house. The friend wasn't home much and the owner felt Suki deserved more time and attention so he decided to give him up. He's 4 1/2 years old and very well behaved.

Suki quirks:

He LOVES to play ball, toy, etc. Oh and the sun toy is looking a little grungy these days, I think it has a date with the washing machine soon. The toy tossing begins when you first get out of bed to the time you go to bed.

He squeaks if you go to open the dishwasher or oven doors, if you actually open it, he begins barking, running around the house barking. I think he's part psychic because he knows I'm going to open the oven door before I even walk towards the oven.

If Suki is very excited he jumps up and waves his front legs in the air, it sort looks like he's dancing, it's very cute.

He will chase flashlight beams and shadows (we don't encourage the shadow chasing).

We're thankful Suki's owner gave him up, we're enjoying him and he's a part of our family now. :biggrin2:
