Hello

My name is Heather I live in Florida.
I'm new to the boards.
I have 3 shelties....I was just given a puppy that has dm. No one wanted him so I took him in. Feel kinda crazy. Does anyone else have a Dm dog? My other shelties are healthy the oldest has thyroid issues and is on Soloxine. Anyway I love my shelties they are so sweet and super smart. My Shelties names are Presley, Seth, and Luka all boys! The older two are tall boys...Anyway nice to be able to talk to other Sheltie lovers.

Heather, welcome! I think there are a couple people on here whose dogs have DM...I can't remember offhand. That is really kind of you to take in the puppy.

Welcome to the forum! Where in Florida do you live. I live south of Sarasota on the gulf coast.

Two babies here, a 2 year old, tri-factored sable female and a 16 month old double merle boy, mostly white. My boy, Cooper is blind in one eye and hearing impaired as well. Got him from the Mid-Florida Sheltie Rescue. Such a sweet boy. My little girl is from a breeder in Crystal River and is the cutest, sweetest sheltie every! I'm not biased either, she really is!

Welcome to the forums. I know a couple other people have shelties with DM, I can't remember who at the moment. Feel free to ask any questions and if you hadn't heard we love pictures here.:smile2::wink2:
 
A big welcome to you & your fur kids! Well since everyone has begged for pictures,I don't feel so bad begging..:biggrin2:

We have two shelties,both are under a year,and are half brothers.They are Trapp~ 11 months & Jasper 7 months.

Earnhardt is our lab,and we havve a blind kitty named Bumper
