That about sums up the differences. in appreances Am Lines tend to be a heavier boned, then the UK. thus making them larger and bigger overall. Our heads tend to be going to more of the collie look as well changing the look and increasing the different look between the AM and UK lines.. There are some breeders who are doing imports and trying to blend the lines to minimize the differences.

I like the idea of blending the lines somewhat!

Bacca is definitely of the AM line - big boned bruiser and long in body. Indy is definitely more refined and fine-boned so probably more UK. They are the same age and approximately same height but their body configuration is very different.
