Hello,
I just got my first sheltie and I'm extremely excited about him. He is such a sweetheart and wonderful with my children. My dad had shelties growing up!! Can't wait to get to know all of you and get help on what's best for my boy. We named him Blue and then a few days after we got him realized maybe Shadow would have been a better name, but he comes to Blue, so we just settled for Blue Shadow! LOL!!
 
Welcome to the group! It is so exciting to get a new pup and the fact that it is a sheltie just makes it that much better!

We love pictures here, so get out the digital camera and show us some pics of the Blue Shadow. Sounds like a comic book character!!!

Yup, Shelties are fantastic dogs for kids. My first Sheltie was wonderful for my daughter.

I'm going to post our story here in a little bit with pictures of the little man, but he'll be 1 on the 7th and he's herding Alexis who is 4, Andraya will be 3 on the 15th & Daylon 15 months!!! Oh and can't forget Miss Cocoa, our 4 year old yorkiepoo.
