Hello all! I have a 13 month old Sheltie (Lexi) and she is just the love of my life (and I wouldn't have it any other way). She is my first Sheltie, however my aunt had one when I was growing up and after growing up with him I knew I had to have one of my own. Lexi is super sweet and kind-hearted, but also has an extremely playful side which can sometimes get her into trouble (i.e her sock obsession!). She's also willing to learn everything she can and has a very athletic build so we are soon going to start beginning obedience class and maybe one day dabble our feet in some agility :biggrin2: She also can be a bit of a bully and quite the instigator; she gives my boyfriend's 100-lb lab a run for his money!! Just the other night she had the guts to run and swipe a bone from his mouth and it was on after that! :lol:

Welcome!
Dogs can be funny, can't they? My uncle's JRT once snatched a dollar bill off the coffee table and ATE half of it.:eek2::lol:
I have a Papillon/Sheltie mix and a German Shepherd.
Have fun.:winkgrin::biggrin2:

Welcome Sweet Home Alabama and Lexi

Shelties are funny even though they are not very big they do get a little pushy with those bigger dogs. I know My, Kiara, loves going and harrass Tasha who is 3 times her size but does that bother her NO!!:lol: Welcome again, enjoy the forum and looking forward to pictures of Lexi.:wink2:

Welcome.....

I have a 7 month sheltie. My very first sheltie and i am learning they are a lot of fun. a few minutes ago i heard some noise in the bedroom and i went to investigate and Jasper was under the bed looking like he found the best hiding spot in the house. He was so cute. My cocker used that spot when he was scared of storms. Jasper is not scared of storms as of now any way.

Welcome -- I lived in Montgomery for 10 years. :yes: Now we're in Virginia, where our favorite subject of conversation is the last funny thing on of the Sheltie girls did. :lol:

Welcome :smile2:
Callie is a southern sheltie who also lives in the great state of Alabama- near Mobile. I am a yankee transplant but I love the south and shelties. :wink2:

I'm sort of an indirect yankee transplant.. My parents are from Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. I was born in Alabama but I'm definitely not a typical Southerner, but I do love the South very much! Im located in Huntsville.

Here's some photos of Lexi.. more to come soon!
