My name is Ruth and I live in the UK I currently do not own a sheltie but am researching them at the moment. I've always admired them as they are utterly beautiful dogs and they seem to have such sweet natures!

I've been admiring all the photos on here and my gosh, they are stunning!

Welcome. As a new sheltie owner it was the BEST decision I ever made, they are wonderful!!!

Welcome, to help you on your journey here's some informative stuff about shelties

They are smarter than any other breed(i.e. Timmy would never have fallen into the well if lassie had been a sheltie)

They are great childcare providers(they herd kids like nobody's business)

They love to cuddle with you(especially if you smell like liver)

They come in three fun colours(not a box of crayons but hey)

They love to leave little reminders of themselves all over the place(especially where your vaccume cannot go)

They know what your going to do before you do(sometimes I think they plant ideas in our heads telepathically. I have the strangest urge to go for a walk right now)
