Hi everyone, I posted in another thread a little bit ago, just wanted to introduce ourselves!

My family and I live in New Jersey and our dog's name is Sammi.
Right now she's 6 months old (born in Jan 2012), and a little larger than what we thought she'd be. She has a darker face and coat, but has the energy and "vocal cords" of any other sheltie!

And just for fun....:pop
We made her a youtube channel:

And my 23yr old daughter controls her twitter:

Welcome New Jersey, jersey here too. :) Sammi is so cute, love the antics, the bells are quite a trick, great job. If you haven't figured it out, this is a great forum for all your Sheltie needs or just chatting!

Welcome to the Sheltie Nation!

Thanks so much for introducing yourself.

We have so many NJ folks here now. We will definitely have to do some sort of a NJ get together at some point. I can organize that this fall, as there is a Sheltie Rescue picnic around that time in Flemington, NJ that is a lot of fun and all shelties.

The pictures of Sammi are adorable. I agree.....he definitely has the colorings of a GSD (german shephard dog). There is something shephardey (is that a word, lol) about his face too. I just can't put my finger on what exactly it is.

Well, again, welcome! I hope that you enjoy your time here.

Good idea Danielle. I usually go to the rescue picnic! I could put my finger on it but your right Sammi does have German Shepard in his face. I very good looking pup?

I think that's the look and the eyes at certain moments - on the second pic for instance. But the barking definitely is Sheltie :biggrin2: Sammi is a cutie.

Welcome to Sheltie Nation!

Sammi is a very cute Sheltie! Mine is just the opposite -- she's stayed smaller than we expected. She's 10 months old, and still not quite 14 pounds. It's fine with me though, as it makes her the perfect lap-size dog.

Do you? We are always there too! Vinca walks in the parade of rescues. She is introduced as the drug house dog
