A friend posted a recipe for home-made Frostie Paws. I tried it out last night and mine love it.

Frosty Paws Home Made

32 oz plain or vanilla yogurt
2 bananas
2 tbs peanut butter
2 tbs honey

Mix in a blender and pour into container. Dixie cups were suggested. I didn't have them so instead poured it into a large glass cake pan. When it was almost set, I cut it into cubes. Mine love it.

Next time, I am going to try a different fruit and see how they like that.

Sounds yummy! I bet you could also use an ice cube tray for smaller portions since it sounds a bit caloric (Bentley is on a diet so I'm keeping an eye on these things!)
 
You could. My cubes turned about 3/4" square and about that deep. I figure one is about enough for each and plan on replacing a cookie with the yogurt.

PS Bentley - I feel for you. Mom says I have to go on a diet too. Emma
 
Mmmmmm. Sounds yummy. I wonder if I put it in a kong, froze it and then gave it to Tin while I work on him if it would keep him happy. Must try this. Thanks for the recipe.
 
They are guaranteed to be loved. Mine got some instead of their cookie this afternoon, still frozen. They looked for more than one.
 
Frozen bananas are MY favorite dessert since I am trying to lose weight and of course Sally gets a few small bites.
 
I did put them in ice cube trays and max loves them. We are taking Max with us to friends in VA and they have corgi's and I am making some for them. There newest corgi is Briar and I am bringing these to welcome him into our family.
A year or so ago my neighbor told of frozen paws so I bought them, max never ate them!

This is one of Riley's favorites!! We actually got the recipe when we were in puppy class. Riley's are made in an ice cube tray, as that is big enough for him. My friends makes them in small tupperware containers for her larger dog.
 
Frozen kefir (liquidy yogurt beverage) is also reeeeaally good. High protein, vitamin D, calcium content, very little fat if you buy the low- or non-fat varieties. I always get the Lifeway brand - it's lactose free. Olive would, if I let her, chow down a whole bottle.
