Homemade food

Heck, I barely cook for myself!

I think I'll stick to kibble! Lazy Barb! :wink2:

You know the truly sad thing is - I don't cook for myself! I usually have a microwave meal or adapt what I am cooking for the dogs (I eat a lot of mince and pumpkin as a result). I can tell you the puppy bubble 'n squeak is quite yummy and makes a hearty human dinner.

I have a recipe that I got that is apparently "sheltie specific". This is cooked food made up of mostly lamb and potatoes. I used to make large batches and freeze them in individual containers and reheat when it's mealtime.

If you'd like to use this, drop me your email address and I'll send it to you!

I would love the recipe! jelizcar@msn.com

Thank you so much!!

I feed Treader a raw diet. I made sure to do my research first. The raw forum on Dogster gave links to excellent website to learn at, and I did a raw diet search of my own. I also talked to those who fed raw. All over the internet, since no one in my area feeds raw.
That was about a year ago. There is quite a controversy over raw, or even homecooked diets. The best approach is to learn as much from both sides as possible.
