So, this is day 3 post-surgery...
Everything is looking good...

However, I left his onesie on overnight as I have done for the past couple of nights.
Today I had to go out to shovel snow and I left it on him.

When I came in I thought something was amiss. To my surprise...
The Onesie is not even covering the critical components! :eek2::eek2::eek2:

The good news is, he has not gone after his stitches once.
The bad news is when I tired the blue collar on he had a meltdown after the surgery although he tollerated it when we had a test run.

Since I work from home I am just going to monitor him. I hate to distress him more by putting it on.

Or a thrift store Gloria. Just make sure if it's pants it has a drawstring and I made sure they were a size too big. I then put them on backwards, marked a spot for the tail and then removed them and cut a hole. If you have him wear them backwards it's easier to tie them. I found they stayed on Finnie really good...he could play (after the first week) with his toys and no worries of it coming off.
 
Oh boy never a dull moment. Kid's shorts sound like a good idea, but hopefully he will just leave the stitches alone. Thankfully none of mine were obsessive about licking that area. Sounds like he's being pretty good!

So far he is being really good. I can’t believe he has not gone after the stitches at all. He seems totally normal today which is surprising me.
He is still on his pain meds.

Fingers and paws crossed that he continues this good behavior!
 
I don't remember the boys being bad about the stitches. Jocu had been fine at the clinic- then when I was talking to the vet and the tech, he started licking. so we brought home a cone. left it on him while I put out the other three and he had it off before I got back to him. so he and Destin wore the panties that I bought for Callie when she was older. those worked great.....
