how do i get started?

I have two 8 month olds that I am wanting to get started in obedience.
I have already talked with an AKC trainer and we have one on one classes scheduled to start working towards their CGC in May. where do I go after that? I am very new to this, but very interested.

It sounds as though you're on the right track. Have you read the requirements of the AKC CGC title? Before beginning classes you should know what is expected. It's been quite a few years, probably 5, since some of mine earned their CGC title and I know the requirements have changed since then.
