I never heard of senior program, let alone a dog be categorized as a senior dog at the age of 7! Besides each dog is different in there needs. Sorry. It I think you have a gauger for a vet. Time to change vets. I know that isn't easy, I did it after 12 years, but the office changed, the vet seem to lack the compassion he had when he added on other vets.
