Introducing our new girl...

We finally picked up my Dora "Loch-Mere's Isadorable." She is an Apple Acres daughter. She has been bred to Can/Am CH Apple Acres Associated Press, so we are praying for cuddly little fluff balls to love on in mid April. In the meantime, she is learning to sleep in a people bed and get on furniture. She isn't too sure about her new privileges...yet.

Now the big challenge is getting her adjusted to our life. She has always lived with her sister at her breeders, so she is depressed and withdrawn right now.

Very pretty girl with nice markings. Hopefully she will perk up soon and make friends with your other Shelties. My two girls are very bonded, and I can't imagine how sad they would be if taken from each other. But since you have other nice Shelties in your home hopefully she will find a new fur-buddy soon.

She is doing much better today. She has taken over my recliner...so I guess I'm exiled to the couch. She is still being very picky about her food (refusing to eat her normal food). I think she may be turning into a diva! She seems to be enjoying her cheese omelettes, yogurt, and chicken a bit too muc for it to be depression. Lol

Given she came from Rosetta she has probably been a kennel dog all of her life. I am familiar with the person you bought her from.

I think she spent most of her life in a kennel, but she is adjusting much better today. She loves sleeping on my bed. I think she will adjust. It's just going to take her some time. She is confused. Housebreaking was easy though. She had one accident inside on Sunday, and has went outside every time since then....but of course, someone is with her 24/7.
