Willow's idol is Imedla Marcos with her three-thousand pairs of shoes. Willow is a shoe hoarder and will take them from the shoe rack by the front door, one by one, and lie on them. She doesn't chew them and doesn't damage them in any way. She just likes to drag them to a pile in the living room. She will untie laces, even when the shoes are on our feet at the time. The breeder told us about her love of shoelaces even when she was just weeks old. She doesn't seem to have any favorites, either by person or style of footwear, she loves sneakers, crocs, and formal shoes equally. She has no shame about it and carries them around no matter who's watching her. About the only footware she's not totally keen on are her winter boots.

When Oberon was a puppy he realized that when I put on my shoes it meant I was leaving the house (and him). So he started taking one shoe and running away with it, figuring I couldn't leave without both shoes on.

Zulu loves to pull one out of the closet, and run into the living room, hoping for a game of chase. He likes mom's shoes, they are easier to carry!

Reminds me Riley when he was young, I didn't get him until 5 but I knew him since he was 1. His owners mom was my client and when I'd go there I'd change shoes and when I'd go to leave I'd only have one shoe! We'd have to go on the hunt for it. Later with me he still stole my shoes but it was a game then lol!

Willow is too funny! Ruffles is almost 7 but still loves shoes. But she's specific. She loves hubby's deck shoes and will search for them under the bed so she can insert her nose as far in as possible and slide it around the room. It's hilarious. She will also take certain others when she's in the mood or the beloved deck shoes are on hubby's feet, and never chews them either, just collects them.

A shoe fetish! Meadow also likes to transport shoes around, she doesn't chew them but loves to move them around.

Funnily enough Cooper has not touched a shoe or slipper not even as a pup. His joy is to try and grab the duster or a piece of paper towel and if something drops on the floor he lays first dibs on it.
