It is with a heavy heart that I tell you our Jack (Blue Merle) left us suddenly on 9/10/08. He would have been 6 yrs old in December. Unknow to us, Jack had pancreatic cancer that had spread throughout his body. He got a big thumbs up in June at his yearly check-up. Needless to say, our family is grieving and so is our younger Sheltie, Tango (Sable/White). Tango is missing his buddy!! Our world is alittle less brighter right now. We were so very lucky to have the privilege to love this special boy and share our lives and heart with him.

Oh, Judy, words are not enough to say how very sorry I am to hear of your loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this tragic time.
With love,

Judy, we are so very sorry for your loss. We lost our first Sheltie as well to a cancer we did not know she had until the day she died. It broke my heart and I'm sure you feel much the same. We are thinking of you and sending hugs and support.

I am so very sorry to hear that. You and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time. Most people say oh its just a dog. It really isn't just a dog its a family member. I unfortunately understand the pain your going through.

 Sorry for your loss...I lost my cat two years ago...

My dad once had a white GSD named Jack. Some man target practicing shot him and decided to use Jack for target practice.

My deepest sympathies go out to you, Judy.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Sheltie, Jack. Words are never enough at times like this. Sheltie hugs go out to you, Tango and your family. Give yourself time to grieve, and keep Tango near for he is grieving also, as you have said. You need each other now more than ever. I am so sorry!!

Thanks

I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support. It is truely comforting to be surrounded by people who know what your going through. So, if you hear of a large blue merle sheltie at the Rainbow Bridge that is hogging a couch, give Jack a scratch behind the ear and he'll move over so you can sit down and scratch some more.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Hugs and prayers go out to you and Tango. My Max (passed on 7/5/08) will show Jack the ropes!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Like you, my forever pup, Timber's illness was a complete surprise. Yeah, he was slowing down. But I left for work in the morning and he was fine, by 4 p.m. he had died.

I know Timber will fighting over that couch with Jack! Except, he won't be moving over for a scratch!

My best wishes to you and all. It's a very sad time. Just hold the memories close. He'll be forever in your heart.
