I tried getting Janet to send me some,but I don't think they could have got shoveled out to get ot the post office!
Hopefully today was a better day for all of the folks in Weaverville,Ashville areas. I know if we got snow like that,this whole town of Cheraw..would literally die in its tracks.
Probably the only two people in this town that would venture out,would be Brian & I,as we are native northerners. So a bit of snow,would be reminisent of the old days in NY. It never bothered us to get out and drive in the stuff,we had to get out just the same and carry on with normal every day stuff.
We all just had car starters..stand by the front door or window,push a button,and let the car warm up before getting in to go.~ Better than years ago,when we plugged our cars in to keep the oil warm!!

hey all!
i dont remember who asked but yes jasper is a sable merle
and its so funny at first he really hated the snow.. we let him out while it was falling and he took one step and it was on his paw, and he lifted his paw up and was just staring at it like GET IT OFFFF EWWW! so we noticed he had to go #2 and we kept letting him out but he wouldnt go cause he didnt want to be outside.. eventually he had to go so bad that we caught him trying to use the cats litter box... how SMART? but we just shoveled him a path and tossed him back out.. lol
it wasnt until the next morning and we had 28 inches of snow that i got him to love it... he was playing in the shoveled area and all was good and i was like i want him to play IN it.. so i just picked him up and plopped in him the middle of it all lol.. at first he wasnt impressed but then realized it was ok and went out to the middle of the yard on his own...
then everytime i brought him in he cried and cried and brought all his toys to the back door until i went out to play with him again lol.. my lil character

thank you chris! and the marine is doing great... i just went thru a million airline delays and running to catch my connecting flight by seconds to get out to cali and see him.. so i'm in our apt right now
