As I have been lurking here for a while now, I figured it was about time I jumped in and said hello, and introduced myself and my gang!

I'm Annie, from Southern California. I'm married to Nathan, and mom to two little boys, Connor and Hayden. At this time, I am a SAHM, but also making my way through an online college course in medical transcription... We share our home with 6 dogs, 9 cats, and a small herd of purebred rabbits. I keep busy, no doubt about that! But if I didn't, I wouldn't know what to do with myself, LOL. :razz:

Our dogs are Caprici, Daja, & Emmett (German Shepherds), Meatball (English Bulldog), Kangee & Kele (Shelties). The bulldog belongs to the husband, they aren't really a breed that entices me much. :razz: The German Shepherds are my heart - Caprici & Emmett are german import showline dogs and just breathtaking to behold, and Daja is just your average american lined dog. The Shelties are Kangee, a bi-black... And Kele, a sable CHW.

Glad you came out of lurking mode to join in here. This forum is filled with wonderful people,and an abundance of knowledge. We are new sheltie owners,so we are always learning about this wonderful breed.

Welcome to the group!! Where in So CA are you? I grew up in Costa Mesa and my daughter currently lives in Long Beach. Wish I was there!!!

What a group you have there! We definitely are a big "pictures" bunch, so hopefully you can post some soon. We'd love to see them all.
 
Welcome! That is quite the herd...including the herd of rabbits. What kind do you raise?

We currently live in Hesperia, the high desert area about forty five minutes above Riverside/San Bernardino. Not the most ideal location, but we were fortunate to have been able to move back here - we lived in St. George, Utah for three years and I wanted to come home. My husband found work out here in a poor job market, and we were able to find this bank owned home for pretty much pocket change. So, this is where we call home, for now. :smile2:

I was born in Burbank, and we moved around a lot, but did most of my growing up in Simi Valley. Where I would eventually like to move back to. My husband was born and raised in Canyon Country (Santa Clarita).

As for my rabbits, I raise French Lops & Netherland Dwarfs. :wink2: I keep a very small herd, and due to having children, no longer show... But I still love having them! They are my escape.
 
Welcome!! Glad you stopped lurking and finaly joined in. I cannot wait to see pictures of all your furkids!!! Shelites are by far my first love, but if I had a bigger yard, a GS would be in the mix too! Maia's breeder, used to breed GS so did her dad. I wonder what it is about shelties and GS? I personally think it is because they are both intelligent dogs, have long noses and well are just beautiful.
