Judging Schedule, what does it all mean...

Hey quick question for the experts!
When looking at a judging schedule for an upcoming show what do all the numbers mean?!
For example -
14 Shetland Sheepdog 4-6-1-3

I'm assuming 14 is the number of dogs in the category, but what about the ones that follow the breed name?

While we're at it... in the BIS/BPIS section I see this -
BIS / BPIS
324 dogs, 4 Ex.only
What does the 4Ex.only mean?

Thanks in advance :-)

I know nothing about conformation, but is it possible that "Ex Only" means exhibition only? I.E., not actually competing?

im not sure about the ex...maybe Connie or Megan will be along to answer as I know they are a bit more used to the CN judging than I am...but as far as the numbers in the US it would be listed as 4-6 (1-3) which would mean 4 dogs 6 bitches than 1 Dog Special (already a CH) and 3 Bitch specials...

ok I found it...its for exhibation only which means the dog will be at the show site but not actually in the ring....Although im not grabbing the aspect of this class.....

I think for the dog to be at the show site at all in Canada they need to be enter exhibition only. Kinda like AKC, you can't bring unentered dogs to the show but alot of people do if they are traveling with a handler. This is the way they can legally be at the show but not be entered in a class. I think the entery fee is greatly reduced.
