This is an 'I'm a bad Sheltie mum' thread.
Poor little Kismet - I accidently locked her out in the backyard, for a couple of hours in a thunderstorm!
I didn't realise she'd snuck out the back and so locked the laundry door. Then I had dinner, watched a kids movie, paid some bills. It was only when it clicked that Star Trek did not have dogs that I realised the noises I heard were not on the TV. It was poor little Kismet howling to be heard of the storm.
Needless to say, I let a very wet and very thankful little dog inside - dogs are so forgiving!
Once I dried her off she managed to torture the cat before flaking out on the floor, so I'm assuming she wasn't too traumatised!

Maybe Kismet is like Spitfire, hates to get wet but once wet is like a little gremlin.
Oh no, more Kismets - the cats would leave home!
