Kyara saves... the kitchen floor!

OMG I don't mean to laugh, but I bet that was something to clean up.

Good girl, hope she got a hug and a treat. Tell BF not to do that again.
 
What a clever dog. But then Shelties are clever aren't they. That's why we own them. My pup has picked up on so many things already. The other day when we went out on a long walk and ended up at a quagmire. It was Grace who picked the easiest route through and looked back at mummy to check that she was following safely. So yes, Shelties are very clever dogs, and your baby has clearly saved the day for you there.:smile2:
 
:lol: Thanks everyone. It was indeed a not-so-fun mess to clean up, but it left our kitchen floor quite clean :lol:.

I used to get annoyed at how Kyara gets freaked out about any little change in the environment but I must say, it paid off this time!

It's incredible how she notices any little thing from a cellphone plug that is plugged in a different socket than usual to a lamp that had been moved by an inch. :rolleyes2: She'll go inspect, in a very scaredy cat way and sometimes will even let out little woofs at whatever is different. Now I know she is just looking out for us!:lol:
 
I love this about shelties - always keeping an eye out. They are definitely not your bumps on a log kind of doggy!
My fur baby even helps me keep track of dinner cooking on the stove. I live in an old house and the kitchen doesn't open up to the living room so sometimes I watch a little Tv while I'm waiting for dinner to cook. And while I know she's just in there to soak up the smells and any tasty droppings, I swear she can tell when something's really getting done (by the sizzle, boiling, whatever) and I get that panic look from her 'cum on Mom, time to look'!!
