Ladies, Train Your Husband Like a Dog!

Hmm be fed my favorite treats, get massaged, not go to work, not have to be dressed up in costumes.... hmmm

Though if you want a man but your idea of a treat is that poofy looking plate of food you might not catch one :rolleyes2:

So if it takes 6 repetitions to train a sheltie wonder how many it takes to train a husband. And does that mean a sheltie is smarter than a husband - actually thats a rhetorical question, we all know the answer to that!

Don't make me bite your heels!

My husband just retired this year and I'm still working. There is no doubt that my Sheltie is easier to train than my husband. It's a work in progress.

hahahaaha funny thread! My best friend who tends to pick less than stellar men has a new one and my mom said tell her your giving her a puppy application for him to fill out unless it can pass that leave him at the curb! because if he cant stay in his own fenced it yard he's got issues!:wink2:

Actually, I thought a lot of the advise was good. It's true with anyone, husband or wife, child or parent, that if you praise good behavior it multiplies. Choosing when to "train" and when to wait is another good piece of advise.

What I thought was funny were the comments at the end. When I read something like that article I'm always thinking how it would work used on me or my child, sister, etc., because I'm not married. That so many people took real offense to the article befuddles me.

Nine words women use:

1. FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. FIVE MINUTES: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3. NOTHING: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in
FINE.

4. GO AHEAD: This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it.

5. LOUD SIGH: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and agruing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6. THAT'S OKAY: This is one of the most dangerous sttements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7. THANKS: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here-This is true, unless she says "Thanks a lot" -that is pure sarcasm and she is not thanking you. DO NOT say "you're welcome." that will bring on a "WHATEVER")

8. WHATEVER: Is a woman's way of saying, "No matter what you say or do, you will be wrong!" It does not indicate that she has accepted your point of view.

9. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT; I GOT IT: This is another dangerous statement-meaning: This is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "Whats wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3.

Can anyone relate to these nine words?
