leaving puppy alone for a long period of time

I agree with Ann & Connie. Just use a bigger crate if you have one, and hope for the best. If he has to go, yes, he will be uncomfortable, but as long as it doesn't become a habit, then he will be fine.

We managed to change their minds though

so we just went mini golfing where he was only left alone for about 5 hours then we came home let him out then went to dinner. and noooo messes :yes:

so all is swell now :biggrin2:

very glad it worked out.. im shocked it did because when we told fiance's aunt about the puppy thing before she flipped on him saying we can't revolve our life around him.. thanks for everyone's inputs

Do not know if you have children. If not tell your aunt you want to get an impression how life changes with children and start it with that little dog.
Maybe than she accept the responsibility for this lillte cute puppy.

no kids

but she also knows I don't want any :lol:

I'd much rather have 12 dogs over one kid. though i did explain to her that puppies are like little kids.
