They did test for Lyme, right? I think I remember you saying that they did that awhile ago.

test is unreliable. Sorry I do not remember your specifics but we are dealing with limping as well, after laser/ water therapy/ chiro we kept returning to limping with Che. I started him on doxy just because.... and sure enough limping is gone... Just our experience...
I'm sorry--how frustrating. I hope that Megan gets better after this round of abx.
I was under the impression Rimadyl is a pain killer... is this not right? Just curious for future reference in case my animals are prescribed it or something.

Our Vet is convinced Megan does not have Lyme or even any symptoms of it. The only symptom she is presenting is in the one leg, (no yelping, no crying, otherwise, 100% normal). She seems to limp when she first gets up and after jumping down off the couch. Today the Vet saw no evidence of arthritis in the ex-ray.
We'll do an MRI in a few weeks if she is still limping. It's presenting like a sprain, soft tissue/ligament etc. She will take Rimadyl, (an anti-inflammatory) for the next two weeks since it did seem to help this last time.![]()
Yeah, I don't know why I said abx. My bad!!!! What I meant was that I hope she gets better after this round of REST![]()
