Hello after doing much research my husband and I have decided to get a Sheltie! We have got some name of breeders while doing our research but since you guys are the expert I was hoping you can make some recommendations. We live in southeastern Ontario close to Toronto to be specific and are looking for reputable Sheltie breeder. Please help.

We don't recommend specific breeders on Sheltie Nation. However, we do have many members from Canada and they can private message you with any recommendations they might have. Also, if you go to this link and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are a few Canadian breeders listed. Find a Sheltie breeder - The American Shetland Sheepdog Association And possibly emailing the breed info chair could supply you with additional Canadian recommendations:

now just so you know, once you get that wonderful puppy, it will change your life and you will wonder how you ever survived w/o a sheltie. They are incredible pets. If you are able, post pics, we all love seeing more of the breed
and it gives us the opportunity to oooooh & ahhhhhhhh.

put your cursor over the name of the person that you want to PM and click- a drop down will appear. the second choice is send a private message to that person. when you click on that, the PM will pop up and allow you to add a title and type in a message to that person.
actually- you may be too new to use the PM system. I seem to remember that there were changes to that within the last year........................

Check out the Canadian kennel Club page. There is a list of breeders. Also Kijiji can help. Sometimes breeders advertise here. You will find not all Canadian breeder are listed with the Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association.
