My precious Puppy ran from a friends apt we were visiting near hillsborough St. Wolf den apt on Thursday May 24. We have put up flyers and gone door to door. Please if anyone sights her call 703.608.0927. She means the world to us. I am new on this and don't know if I can post a picture. We have contacted and gone to wake county and the spac and put n Craig's list

I looked on craigslist. Is your pup the Tri color with a Happy Birthday bandana. I don't see any reason you cannot post here from photo bucket or the likes. Praying you find you pup asap.

Save that picture you see on Craiglist to an album you have on your PC. Once its there, right click on it,and click on Properites.

Highlight it (cut) and then come back here and paste it in a post here. Maybe Kelly can help you if you send a picture to her, that you have saved in your PC.

I just pulled the pictures off of craigslist.

I hope these are the right pictures!

It really is important that you try to keep looking, especially right in the area where she was last seen. Shelties had specific characteristics in behavior when they are lost.
They tend to circle around the area, alothugh at times may circle out wider, but usually always come back to the same spot.

They will feed at night, especially with this weather being so hot. And sleep in a cool spot during the day to conserve energy.

Try getting in touch with someone that you can use a live trap.

Bait it with KFC chicken, and check it every day, many times a day to keep the chicken fresh.
Take something of yours to the last spot she was seen if a sighting has been done of her.

Is she spayed? Is she micro chipped? Any ID on her? A Tattoo?
Make sure you keep checking places like parks, resturants, garbage bins, vet offices, nearby neighbors.
If it rains, replenish your signs to keep them readable

Is there another dog in the family? If so,take that dog with you on your searches,so the scent can be left,(marking)

Take other people with you,to keep you company on your searchs.

One thing I do have to tell you,the longer she is lost, the more feral she may become. Its just the way they are. They are so sensitive, and they get so scared, they don't know what to do but run.
I have known of other shelties that were so scared, they would not even come close to the owners. It takes time once you do see her. most of all do not panic if you do see her.

Don't give up,stay positive.
