Maggie Mae left us peacefully today just like the angel she has always been. Her disease was so cruel and rare - we needed to let her go. It hurts so much and yet there is a feeling of relief that we did the right thing. She was always my heartsong.

Julie-
I am so sorry for all the pain that Maggie had. I hope that you and her can both be at peace now. Thanks for all that you did for your little girl. My heart is breaking for you.

Hugs to you! My heart aches for you, yet I understand the feeling of relief. She's running at the Bridge now, in no more pain. The pain belongs to those who will so dearly miss her......

Julie, I am so sorry for your loss of Maggie. Take comfort in knowing she is now pain free and happy waiting at the rainbow bridge.

Julie, I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you and all of those that knew and loved Maggie Mae.

Oh Julie, I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave a wonderful dog a wonderful life - you've said that she was the sweetest, gentlest girl imaginable, and I know she will be missed.

Julie....she will always be your "heartsong." I know exactly what you mean about feeling relief for her and that you did the right thing....yet...it hurts so much. Why is it that the "right" thing is usually the hardest thing? In the end, you were there for her exactly as she needed you to be. I hope you can take peace in that thought.

Healing thoughts to you.....

Sending hugs and love to you, Julie. Letting them go is the hardest thing we ever do, even when it's for them. I wish you wonderful and warm memories of Maggie Mae. She will always be with you.

Run free, little Maggie Mae! I am so sorry for your loss of your heart dog. It's just an awful experience but my sincere wish is for you to know in your heart it was right... they count on us for the final mercy, as hard as it is.

Hoping good memories will comfort you and blot out the pain of the last few months.
