Making a Clarabelle Snuggly

Everyone knows that Clarabelle is my stand offish girl. She loves to be loved- when she wants it. She cuddles DH every night. I'm okay- sometimes. While we were in the camper though, a lot of flies decided that they also wanted to live in our trailer. So, DH spent a short time killing them with a fly swatter. Clarabelle DID NOT LIKE THAT! She could not get close enough to me. She wanted belly rubs. If I moved my hand, she moved it back. DH needs to go around smacking things more often so I can cuddle with his girl. LOL

I wish Piper wanted to snuggle when the fly swatted was pulled out....he just wants to kill the fly swatter lol.

I guess we got lucky. Oberon is always ready to snuggle. He's a definite snuggle-bunny.

Ally was also Daddy's girl but if she was scared, it was "Save me Mom!" like at the "Land of the Giants", our friends who have 10 (yes 10!) rescue Collies. All very sweet and friendly but much too big for our little Pipsqueak's liking. She would jump up on my leg like a toddler - "Up, Mommy, up!!" I would plop her on my lap and she'd be fine. I miss her so much.

When Minnie finds a blowfly inside she barks wildly

Pick me up - shows me the fly - I just have to kill it right away - she wait nicely and waiting for me to show her the dead fly.
But if I do not catch the fly and it escape - she starts again to find the fly

Missy, my Bailey is the same way. If she is not in a loving mood, she quickly pulls away from anyone that wants to pet her. My other 2 are so happy anytime you reach out to pet. Strange how they all have their own personalities.
