Hey I'm from Norway, And is the proud owner of my giant merle sheltie Marco. I got him when he was 2 and a half years old, in the summer last year.
When i first got him he was stongly attached to me from day one! and i love him to pieces! :winkgrin:
After that he has been on a diet, (he was very fat and looked 12years old) and we have started Agility, A little Obediance, thou this was not a big problem, if i made just a little sound he'd come running (not very fast at the beginning) but sit and lay down wasn't his previous owner's priority sins he was ment to be a showdog, but lucky for me he got too big and is now my cuddly big boy :winkgrin:
He also had thrust issues whit men and children, my boyfriend has cured the most of the men issues, sins he is great with dogs. The child issue i haven't got a real chance to fix yet, but it is in progress :)
Now he is a very happy, active, playfull dog and not so stressed anymore! :smile2:
And we are so caught by the sheltie virus, and is looking for a puppy as we speak, I cant wait!
So, i look forward to join, and put up pictures of my Prins and some of his friends :wink2:

Welcome to the group! You will like it here! There are a lot of great people and dogs on here! Norway, that is really cool! We are getting more and more international members and that is great! By the way, Marco is a very handsome boy!!

It sounds as though you are making great progress with Marco. With your long summer evenings, you will have lots of opportunities to expose him to children.
 
Welcome to the Forum. It was good luck for both you and for Marco that he grew too big for the show ring. I'm sure he is much happier being loved by you and your boyfriend.

Welcome Marco!! Your boy is really cute. When you guys tell her how to put up pictures, make the instructions really simple, so that an old lady like me can figure them out, Okay? By the way, my maiden name is Andersen, and my family said they thought we were Norwegian, though it must have been several generations in the past.
 
He is handsome! My first sheltie was a tri-colour. Shelties are such wonderful companions. Glad you joined!
 
Uhhm, he is a Blue Merle by the way, i can see that the picture lies a bit :o Andersen is both Danish and Norwegian, pretty normal name around here, so its a good chance you are part norwegian :winkgrin:
