Meant to be Shelties?

I don't know if Mya was mean't to be my sheltie or not but here is the side of my story.
After Sassy died, I got really desperate for another sheltie to love (I think it was more to fill the gap that Sassy left). It was on December 24, 2007 that was looking at the buy and sell on the internet and came a sheltie that looked like Sassy. I immediatley fell in love with her, so I printed out the ad and showed husband. He said we can get her and so within an hour later after the ad came on ( the ad was on for 4 hrs before I saw it and shelties go fast around here). We picked her up on boxing day.

The thing is.... Mya was born on the same day and same month as Sassy...only ten years apart.

sounds meant to be to me :smile2:

Many of you have heard my story already....but here it is again.

Three years ago (coming this March), but 19 year old daughter, Michelle, died suddenly. I was barely coming to grips with that loss when Timber, my 12 year old Sheltie, also suddenly died from a lung tumour which we did not know about. This was less than 2 months later.

My sister told me at the time, that Michelle must have called Timber up to her to keep her company until the rest of us would join her in the everlasting.

Of course, the emptiness I felt was unbearable. It took me about 3 days to decide I wanted another dog, and about another 3 days to decide to another Sheltie. Within the month, Bacca came home.

As much as Timber was a wonderful dog, I think Bacca is my true forever pup! He is gutsy and brave, and sometimes just a little silly. He's as a solid as a rock, and has kept me from losing it so many times.

And then there's Indy.....(sigh!):rolleyes2::rolleyes2::lol:
