Mexico Shelties?

New to the forum, grateful for the information, especially the discussion on Border Collies versus Shelties.
Important was how much variance can occur in individual dogs, making the breed itself not the only determining factor.

The headline is Mexico Shelties because I live in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Hi Alacrity and welcome from Australia. Are you on the look out for a Sheltie? Are they popular in Mexico? Shelties have been becoming more popular in Australia in the last 5 years, but still not too common.

I think here there's less and less diversity in the breed, not sure if that's the smaller population size or that breeders have been focusing so much on size and breeding to the British standard. Personally I'd love to see more focus on breeding for temperament.
