Micro chipping Chase today

There's a local group that has a rabies clinic today. Chase is all UTD on his shots but they are also micro chipping for $10 today. I've been seriously thinking of getting this done and think the pros out weight the cons. Chase will travel with us to the beach and I fear him loosing his collar and getting lost in a strange city. So I think I will take him today while it's so cheap and get it done. I'm going to also get my daughters dog done too.

That's great! Gypsy is chipped and Chandler was as well. I say anything we can do is just another step in getting them back if anything should happen.

Great price!

There's been a cat all over the news recently who was reunited with her family after 5 years. All because of her microchip. The family is from Colorado and even moved after she went missing, but made sure to update her microchip with their new address. She was picked up as a stray in NYC this week. They scanned her microchip, called the owners and they will be back together in a week or so.

We just made it back. Got there a little close to the end, 12:30. The event went from 10:00am to 1pm. Chase and Bear (my daughters Pom) got the 123 & 124th chips sold today. The place was packed! They had one years rabies vaccines for $5, if you had the one year they did the 3yr for the same price. $10 for the chip was the cheapest we had seen. They brought 125 chips and 300 rabies vaccines to the event and had to run out for more vaccine over an hour before it ended so they ran to get more. I didn't think the crowd would be big due to it being a very cool rainy day but everyone was surprised by the turn out. When we left at 1pm the rabies line was about 75 people deep.

Wow sounds like you got there just in time. So happy you were able to get it done. If I recall currectly I paid $45.00.

I think they will also charge you to register it. The $10 was putting it in. A great deal but be sure to follow up in case Chase ever puts it to the test :eek2:

From what I read the $19 is for them to send out alerts to pounds, vets etc. if you report him lost. I registered it the day I got it.

Even a better deal then. I had to pay then do the registration (they were very open and told me that and how much). I cannot remember how much as it was part of a larger bill. I am sure it was more than your great deal though.
